We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the Shared Health Supplies website (see date above). It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website and/or placing subsequent orders with Shared Health Supplies shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions. The terms and conditions herein also apply to ALL orders placed using any mode of communication.
PASSWORDS AND WEBSITE USE
Using the website MAY require registration and subsequent access to those services will be subject to an approved login name and password ("Password Details"). Special pricing and/or discount must be agreed upon before being added to your account, this discount is specific to the applicant company and is non transferrable to any others. Information that you provide on this website and by email or letter must be accurate and complete. All Passwords Details are accepted and may be withdrawn at our sole discretion and are exclusive to you and non-transferable and must be treated as strictly confidential at all times. In the event that you have any concerns regarding your Password Details or become aware of any misuse then you must inform us immediately.
Some products listed on the website are marked for professional only. Shared Health Supplies reserves the right to refuse your order if you are not a Qualified Professional. We will not be held responsible for injuries or damage caused by unqualified users of our products. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully insured for the products that you are using. Products marked ‘professional only’ are not intended for sale to members of the general public.
PLACING AN ORDER
You can order by phone, email, fax, post or online. Place your order before 2pm for, where possible, next day delivery. Shared Health Supplies reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time and that decision is final.
Every effort will be made to maintain a stable supply and pricing policy subject to market conditions and variations. All prices are correct at the time of going to print, however Shared Health Supplies reserves the right to alter prices without notice, explanation or notification. We will be pleased to confirm our latest prices by telephone, email or fax whichever is most convenient to you. Prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT. Invoices are in £ Sterling at the prevailing VAT rate at the time of ordering.
PRODUCT DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Shared Health Supplies reserves the right to alter details and specifications without notice, explanation or notification. We reserve the right to substitute similar quality items based upon availability to complete your order. The goods are supplied according to the descriptions and specifications supplied by the manufacturer. Except as expressly stated in writing, Shared Health Supplies, its employees and agents are not authorised to make representations as to the fitness of purpose or suitability of any goods sold for any purposes whatsoever. The Customer acknowledges that neither Shared Health Supplies nor its employees have any professional or medical qualifications to advise as to fitness for purpose or suitability. The Customer acknowledges that no representatives have been made by Shared Health Supplies other than those incorporated in Shared Health Supplies web catalogue, quotation and these Conditions. In agreeing to these terms you acknowledge that you do not rely on any such representation to complete your purchase with us and that goods have been selected and ordered by the Customer using their own skill and judgement. We make no recommendations as to the suitability of the products for any particular purpose. We display details of products with images and prices as an indication of our intention to either offer these items straight from stocks held or source it from reputable manufacturers or other wholesalers or suppliers. If an item is not in stock we will inform you of an estimated time of delivery. However, the time of delivery will not be considered as part of a sales contract. We have arrangements with our suppliers and manufacturers who will either deliver the product, within a few days to you directly from their warehouse or deliver it to us. We will keep you informed about the progress of your order. Items which are in stock in our warehouse are typically delivered in a reasonable time. In our experience our delivery partners do a great job and we rarely have delivery problems.
A quotation by Shared Health Supplies shall not constitute an offer and there shall be no binding contract until Shared Health Supplies has accepted the order by fulfilling the order. A quotation shall be valid only for the period stated, and if no period is stated, for 30 days from the date of quotation. Shared Health Supplies reserves the right to amend prices due to fluctuation in exchange rates. Shared Health Supplies reserves the right to alter any specification or any goods and to withdraw the availability of any goods without notification. Unless otherwise specifically stated, all prices quoted by Shared Health Supplies are exclusive of Value Added Tax, which shall be due at the ruling rate on the date of the Company’s invoice to the Customer. Carriage charges may apply for quoted prices but will be stated.
PAYMENT – NON ACCOUNT HOLDERS
If you do not have a credit account with Shared Health Supplies full payment will have to be received by us before the goods are dispatched. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, BACS, Cheque, PayPal and Amazon payments.
All payments are to be paid in GBP.
PAYMENT – CREDIT ACCOUNTS
All payments are to be paid in GBP. Payment is due 30 days after invoice date. We accept payment by credit card, debit card, BACS, Cheque and PayPal. Failure to pay on time will be subject to interest being charged on the overdue amount of 8% above Bank of England minimum lending rate and account facilities will be withdrawn. We reserve the right to suspend any pending deliveries and accept no further liability on warranties.
TO APPLY FOR A CREDIT ACCOUNT
Credit accounts are available subject to status. Please contact us for an Application Form to apply for a credit account.
Orders over £75.00 + vat will be delivered free of charge.
UK delivery to the Mainland only including Northern Ireland, but excluding the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Channel Islands and Isle of Wight.
Orders received before 2pm where possible will be dispatched the same day.
Orders under £75 are subject to delivery charges.
Overseas orders are based on size, weight and geographical location; for a more accurate quote please contact us.
Goods shipped direct from suppliers may incur some additional carriage charges and can take up to 4- 7 weeks for delivery. Any additional charges will be discussed with the customer before dispatching the goods.
Notification will be given for any out of stock items, for either a new delivery date or refund.
If Shared Health Supplies is hindered or prevented from fulfilling any contractual obligation due to any cause beyond their reasonable control, such as delays by delivery Companies or manufacturer’s lead times or by their inability to produce any goods, Shared Health Supplies may at its absolute discretion delay the performance of or cancel the whole or any part of the contract without incurring any liability whatsoever. Should we be aware of these situations, we will always try our best to notify you. The customer is responsible to check the number of packages delivered corresponds with the number stated on the delivery note. If any discrepancy occurs or there is evident damage to the packaging, you must note this on the “Proof of Delivery” or refuse delivery of goods. It is the responsibility of the customer to check and count all parcels/goods before signing any accompanying delivery note. Errors cannot be corrected afterwards.
MISSING OR DAMAGED GOODS
Claims for missing or damaged goods will not be accepted unless Shared Health Supplies is advised within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Shared Health Supplies will not consider any claims made outside of the stated notification period.
RETURNING UNWANTED OR INCORRECTLY ORDERED GOODS
When goods have been ordered in error or are not as expected Shared Health Supplies may agree to their return. This request must be made to Shared Health Supplies within 14 days of receipt of goods. The returning of goods to us will be entirely your responsibility. We will not be held responsible for missing parcels that you are returning to us. Returned goods will only be accepted where pre-authorisation has been given.
The following goods only are eligible for return:
1) Goods that are non-perishable or non-sterile
2) Goods that have not been given free or as part of an offer
3) Goods that are unworn, unused and sent back to us in original packaging
4) Goods received that have been substituted for original items ordered
The cost of returning damaged or incorrectly supplied goods will be borne by Shared Health Supplies. This may be by collection or reimbursement of carriage costs, at our discretion. Reimbursement will be at standard Royal Mail rates.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER
If you wish for whatever reason to cancel your order please do so as soon as possible. Once an order is processed and delivery applied only a partial refund will be given minus the cost for delivery.
Cancellation after dispatch cannot be accepted.
Special non-standard items such as specialised equipment, or own brand orders cannot be cancelled; payment must be paid in full.
All items are guaranteed according to manufacturer’s warranty.
Shared Health Supplies total liability for any claim however arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied. Shared Health Supplies will not be liable for any consequential loss for anything, however arising. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Where a Customer deals as a consumer as defined in Section 12(1) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 (as amended) these Terms and Conditions are subject to the Consumer's statutory rights, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Shared Health Supplies shall in no way be entitled to exclude or limit such statutory rights.
All rights to ownership and possession of goods supplied by Shared Health Supplies shall remain and belong to Shared Health Supplies until payment in full for goods is received and cheques received are cleared. The customer agrees to keep the goods identifiable as the property of Shared Health Supplies and keep them stored in a merchandisable condition. The customer as an agent of Shared Health Supplies will hold the goods until full payment has been made.
